CFC Angles/Profiles

Carbon fiber composite (CFC) is a relatively new material which, by virtue of being chemically inert, and having additional advantages of high strength, light weight and thermal resistance, is finding increasing industrial application.
Besides CFC sheets and plates we can supply different kinds of CFC profiles as well. The “L”, “U”, “H” and other angles and profiles are mainly used as junction pieces for furnace insulation boards on protecting exposed areas.
Other CFC parts, such as threaded rods, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. are also available for furnace insulation reinforcement and as assembling parts for furnace furniture.
Application ranges up to 2800 °C with inert gas or vacuum. Advantages are: extremely low wall thickness, reduction of thermal mass and consequently, a reduction in the energy utilized, reduction of cycle times.
